# Plugin posts only display intermittently

 * I don’t know whats up with this related posts plugin. I have it on 3 of my WP
   sites. Sometimes the related posts show, then the next time they won’t. It’s 
   the same on all the sites…one minute the plugin works, the next minute it doesn’t…
   very frustrating.
 * Any ideas why WP related posts won’t work consistantly?

 * Hm, this really sound very extraordinary, to be honest, since we haven’t heard
   about this kind of behavior before! What are the blogs in question? We’d really
   like to take a closer look at them, if possible.
 * Also — note that related posts only appear inside blog posts and not on the home
   page of your blog (that is, if you haven’t made any changes inside your theme).
   And you should check if you haven’t by accident exclude a certain category in
   your plugin settings, which can disable your related posts from showing up.
 * Could this be the case?
 * Either way, do let me know what’s up and where it’s happening — I’ll do my best
   to help you out!

 * they seem to work ok in one site, example – [http://holiday-ireland.net/ireland-castles/](http://holiday-ireland.net/ireland-castles/)
 * but they won’t work in this site for example – [http://ballyhackamore.net/ace-belmont-road/](http://ballyhackamore.net/ace-belmont-road/)
 * the plugin code is inserted in exactly the same way on all sites. I also have
   it in a widget on the right hand sidebar of these sites. One day it shows, the
   next day it doesn’t. Its weird

 * Where have you inserted our shortcode exactly? Into which files? Correct me if
   I’m mistaken, but those two sites have two different themes, right? Have you 
   edited the same file (if so, which one)?
 * And have you **un-**ticked the box next to “Auto Insert Related Posts” in both
   of your plugin settings? Have you by any chance excluded a certain category that
   might be blocking some of your related posts?
