 * I have used this plugin several times on several migrations and the download
to local and then upload always worked.
 * But since 6.7 they have broken the “import” from file feature so that it gets
stuck, requiring you to take your exported files and go through one of the many
workaround. All of which now require a subscription.
 * I want programmers to be paid. But this has become a bait-and-switch scheme.

 * I’m sorry to hear that you have been experiencing problems with the import feature
of the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
 * We can assure you that the plugin is not intentionally broken. The plugin is
constantly being updated and improved, and changes are made based on feedback
from users and the needs of the WordPress community.
 * It’s possible that the import feature is experiencing some issues or server limitations
that are causing it to get stuck. We recommend checking the plugin’s documentation
or reaching out to the plugin’s support team for assistance in troubleshooting
   the issue.
 * We understand that you may be disappointed, but we hope that you will continue
to find value in the plugin and its many features. We appreciate your feedback
and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve the plugin and
provide a better experience for our users.
 * If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out
   to us.

 * A quick google of “All-in-One WP Migration Import Stuck” will show how common
this problem is. The only recommended solution is “check your server is limitations”.
So I did check, and increased my server limits to astronomical levels, still
have a problem. So to users, it appears to be a very common bug, with no clear
   workaround or cause.
The real kicker is that users used to be able to manually
upload the backup file over reliable FTP and the plugin would recognize it and
import it, but that feature has been put behind the $69 paywall.
 * This is the definition of a bait-and-switch.

 * Thank you for your message and for bringing this issue to our attention. I apologize
for any frustration or inconvenience you have experienced with the import feature
of the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.
 * You are correct that some users may experience problems with the import process,
and it’s possible that server limitations could be causing the issue. However,
it’s important to note that there are a wide variety of factors that can affect
the import process, and it’s not always possible to identify the root cause of
   the problem without further investigation.
 * We recommend checking the plugin’s documentation or reaching out to the plugin’s
support team for assistance in troubleshooting the issue. It’s possible that
there are other steps you can take to resolve the problem, such as regenerating
the export file or adjusting the plugin’s settings.
 * We understand that you may be disappointed by the decision to require a subscription
for certain features, but we hope that you will continue to find value in the
plugin and its many features. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into
consideration as we continue to improve the plugin and provide a better experience
   for our users.
 * If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out
   to us.
