# [Plugin: Quick Chat] Can't chat

 * Hi,
 * I think its because I have activated and deactivated too many times or something.
   For some reason I can’t get the ftp account to remove the plugin and data to 
   reinstall. I think if i removed all the data manually, it might work again, but
   for now, I’m not sure why everything loads fine, but the typing won’t submit 
   and the emoticons wont insert.

 * Hi lytie, I will repeat what I’ve written on [Quick Chat page at TechyTalk.info](http://www.techytalk.info/quick-chat/#comment-428)
   in case you don’t see it there:
 * By default Quick Chat loads its Javascript in footer. Your theme has no footer
   ether by design which I don’t believe because you’ve sad it worked a day ago,
   ether because you or some plugin has edited your theme files. If you look at 
   your loaded site html you will see that it is missing closing html and body tags.
   Quick Chat javascript can be loaded at header by editing a line or two of its
   code and that will fix QC but your theme will remain broken and 80% off plugins
   load their Javascript in footer so those plugins will remain broken. Go disable
   plugins one by one or revert changes if you have edited your theme files by hand.

 * Hi, it started working again after messing with things for a while more. I dont
   have a theme yet, just using twentyten for now. I see a a complete html page 
   in my source, so I’m not sure what you mean there.
 * My client likes the plugin but thinks that it needs a list of current users and
   a way to boot someone.
 * Can you do me a favor and delete my posts? I diddn’t mean to publish the url.

 * About the page, now it is OK. Last time I’ve checked it was kinda broken. I will
   remove uri but can’t remove posts because then I would have to remove all my 
   and other user Miguel reply. Is this ok?
