# [Plugin: Quick Chat] javascript error "b is undefined"

 * Hi, one of my clients is using your plug-in, and they recently started seeing
   an error when a user is not logged in.
 * In firebug I’m seeing “b is undefined” when quick chat updates the chat window.
 * If I refresh the page the error goes away.
 * If I log in, the error goes away.
 * The theme is using jquery 1.7.1, and we have the latest stable version of the
   plug-in.
 * I verified that jquery is not being loaded twice in the theme.
 * Any ideas or hints?

    I’ve tried testing your chat and I see no error. Here’s screenshot:

 * Well, I’m pretty sure it has something to do with reading/checking for the cookie.
   If I refresh the page, the error goes away.
 * I got this by clearing my cookies, closing Firefox, reopening it and going to
   the chat page:
