# [Plugin: Quick Chat] long loading

 * I have a problem with Quick Chat on my website. The loading of the tchat is very
   slow. The tchat appears 5-6 secondes after the page.

 * well, I am running 3.4.1, and have only just installed Quick Chat, so I’m not
   sure if this issue is specific to 3.4.1

 * Hi.
    Currently Quick Chat is loaded by ajax after everything on page has finish
   loading. It is possible to load it a bit sooner (when DOM is ready) but due to
   Google Chrome bug I’m using this approach. Ajax is used to load chat to make 
   it caching plugins compatible.

 * Thanks for the info Marko. It works OK as it is, it’s just that I have a page
   with nothing in the content section except Quick Chat, and users may thinking
   something is wrong when it takes 6-7 seconds to load. Maybe you could add some
   a message to the effect “Chat is loading, please wait…”

   next version 😉
