# [Plugin: Recent Posts Slider] remove shortcodes in output

 * Hy, I’m using the rps-plugin to show posts from a video-category. The posts are
   filled with some text and a shortcode for the jw-player. In my slides, the shortcode
   shows in raw format. Any hint to hide this output (I don’t need any shortcode-
   output in my slides)?

 * Hi, Either define manual excerpts or strip out shortcode in create_excerpt() 
   function.
