 * Is there a good forum (here or elsewhere) for one to seek recommendations for
   WP plugins that will solve a specific problem and/or meet a set of requirements?
 * wordpress.stackexchange.com used to be a great resource but now considers questions
   of this nature “off topic”.
 * Are there any other online Q&A/discussion forums for plugin recommendations that
   anyone has found extremely useful?

 * It’s the “Fixing WordPress” forum that counts as the general troubleshooting 
   forum. We can help with search terms, but we can’t do the research for you.
