# [Plugin: Redirection] Setting Redirect by permalink template – possible?

 * Hello,
    I was just wondering if this plugin (redirection) would accept the entries
   like `/%year%/%category%/` or any other possible structure with the goal to redirect
   previously used structures to the one currently chosen in WP permalink structure?
   Will it work?.
 * I am helping someone with the blog who is changing the structure and it looks
   like there were other structures used before the current change and there ARE
   some 404s because of this.

 * Any recommendations or adding redirects on newly discovered 404s manually is 
   the only option?
