 * I installed Register Plus on a 2.8.4 install and it works with the most basic
   features. This forum will help though for some of the other problems, hopefully.
 * Shame that development of this plugin has stopped.

 * It worked perfectly with my 2.7 version but since upgrading to 2.8.5 I’m having
   problems with simple captcha – it gives “wrong image identification” no matter
   how correctly you are typing it. I had to uncheck “use simple captcha” which 
   is a shame because now I get tons of “non-human” registrations. Luckily all registrations
   require verification by administrator so it just means more work deleting spam
   registrations.
