 * * for the moderators: if it’s a spam or security issue it should be stated not
   just removed with no updates, so that users will remove it from their sites

 * The question has not been answered, so why has this thread been “resolved”?

 * I understand how this prompts questions and concerns about how the plugin repository
   maintainers operate, but they aren’t likely to see this thread. [The repository blog](https://make.wordpress.org/plugins/tag/repository/)
   has a Communication sidebar with options for contacting them.
