 * I’m trying to use this plugin in conjunction with BuddyPress, which has a neat
   mention system. Basically I want the plugin to simply insert “@username” instead
   of the formatted link with the author name. The comment-template.php only gave
   me ways to access the author’s name, which is not the same as username/login.
 * If someone could please show me how to change
    `esc_html(get_comment_author());`
 * to be a string strictly containing only the username I’d be very grateful.
