Hi Adam,
It seems like your upgrade did not finalize when you upgraded Give to version 1.8.4. Please manually go to the following URL while logged in to your site:
https://maryknollsociety.org/wp-admin/index.php?page=give-upgrades&give-upgrade=give_v18_upgrades_form_metadata
That should resolve your form settings. If not, go into your form and update the “Registration/Login” setting and save your form and you should be good to go.
Thanks!
MATT! You rule. Thank you so much. Adam
Hi Matt, sorry to bother again, but we lost our Donation% goal raised display following the update link you provided. Any idea on how it can be recovered? All of the settings are enabled, and I have not edited anything in the files.
Before:

After update:

Again, your help is greatly appreciated. Adam
Try this:
1) Make sure your Goal is set correctly on the form
2) Go to “Donations > Tools > Data” and use the tool that says “Recaluculate donations for a form” then choose that specific form.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks!
Thanks Matt, followed your instructions and tried it – no luck. Still not showing.
Can you provide a link to your forms? Also make sure to clear any caching you are using on your site.
Matt thanks again for the great support.
Here is a link to the forms within Give:

Hello!
Have been experiencing the same problem- my plugin requests for login, in order to donate.

Hi @ivaivaylo
Please go through the steps listed above and let me know if you continue to have trouble in any way.
Hello Matt.
The steps above are using links for a specific website.
It is not really working for me.
The link for your website would be the same, just with your domain instead. Please use this:
http://yagadome.com/index.php?page=give-upgrades&give-upgrade=give_v18_upgrades_form_metadata
Let me know how that goes.
Thank you very much, Matt!
It worked out perfectly!
Hey Matt,
Same issue. I manually set it and I looked at the settings. Form still says “Please login” Any other thoughts?

Best,

Hi @nmacdonald — here’s the summary of what was reported above and works for resolving this issue:
1) Go to this link directly: yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=give-upgrades&give-upgrade=give_v18_upgrades_form_metadata (of course replace “yourwebsite.com” with your URL)
2) It should be resolved. If not, go into the form directly and go to “Form Display > Registration” and set to “None”.
3) It should be resolved. If not, then your site is caching the results and caching of all kinds need to be cleared. Object caching is most often the culprit, which is most often provided by your server/host. So make sure you know how to clear your Object Cache. For good measure clear all other types of caching as well, including CDN’s like CloudFlare.
Thanks!
Hi @webdevmattcrom
It was a cache issue, thanks!
