# [Plugin: RVSPmaker] Language support & dev idea

 * Hi!
 * I’m looking into translating RSVPMaker, but I’ve found the language folder empty(
   not even the en_EN lang file was there)… Given the directory my guess is that
   the translation framework will be implemented sometime in the future… until then
   what can I do? “Hard code” the language?
 * Also, on a side note, when I add a recurring event I’d like to see an option 
   for “every” day (every monday/tuesday/…) in the regular schedule part.

 * For reasons I don’t understand, svn apparently wasn’t uploading the files in 
   the translations directory. I just put out an update (look for v 1.8) that should
   have those files.
 * It’s quite possible I don’t have it set up correctly, but I tried to follow the
   instructions on the WordPress site for creating a catalog file with POEdit. If
   you can help me get it into a usable state, I’ll be happy. Got a flurry of interest
   in translations when this first came out, then nothing (maybe because those files
   weren’t being distributed properly?)

 * Does anyone succeed in translating this plugin?
 * I have followed this [tutorial](http://forums.lesterchan.net/index.php/topic,108.0.html)
   but my translation did not show up in WP.
 * The permission is set correctly (at least it’s set to the same as the rest of
   the files – 644 owner is www-data) and I have translated some strings already
   that should show up in either the WP settings oron the event page itself.
 * Any hint on where I should look?
