    Hi,

    There are some situations where one needs to duplicate the post title in the meta description. At this moment “Post Description Format” accepts only {excerpt::autogen} and {excerpt}.

    Would it be possible to extend this and allow for post titles to be added as well? So that one can define a format for post meta description?

    something like “blah blah blah <title> blah blah blah>

    Good Idea Praveen:

    This seems like more of a shortcode request and has limited use for most users, so, not sure we will be adding something like this.

    However, as a solution, why not just do this en masse doing a mass editor (100 pages at a time potentially)using the Meta Description Editor?

    You could simply copy the title from the Page name and paste it into the field for the posts that you wish to have this functionality (or even do this on the page level).
