 * If you install a plugin for a Multisite installation, is there a way to have
the settings propogated out for the entire network? DFor ecxample, the WP SMTP
plugin. Do I need to download and install via the Network dashboard, enter the
settings and THEN activate for the network, or does the settings need to be entered
on a site by site basis for every site in the network?

 * Generally it’s site by site, but plugins like [http://wordpress.org/plugins/yd-wpmu-sitewide-options/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/yd-wpmu-sitewide-options/)
   can do this.
