# [Plugin: ShortCodes UI] Shortcode not working in post summary

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks for a great plugin! I’ve just tried to use it in a blog posting for the
   first time (I’ve only used it on pages in the past). The shortcode I’ve used 
   to create the blue text at the top of the posting works fine in the actual posting(
   [http://www.flowmotioncafe.com/a-new-way-of-thinking-training-with-flow](http://www.flowmotioncafe.com/a-new-way-of-thinking-training-with-flow))
   but it just doesn’t appear at all in the blog summary ([http://www.flowmotioncafe.com/our-blog](http://www.flowmotioncafe.com/our-blog)).
   It seems that the shortcode is not understood, so all of the text is just left
   out.

 * It has nothing to do with the plugin , you need to enable shortcodes in your 
   themes excerpt
