 * Good day Media Library Folder team, I was trying to use the plugin to break my
images into sub-folders, I currently have about 600,000 images in my WordPress
marketplace website, but all my images I currently sitting on one folder which
is slowing down my website, that’s the reason I was trying to use Media Library
Folder plugin to solve this issue, but it keeps showing error on my backend.
 * **Questions:**
 * 1. How can I solve this problem?
 * 2. If the plugin works eventually, I understand it changes the images URL which
can breakdown my website completely, please if there a fix for this?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fplugin-showing-error-2%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * It is going to be difficult when using the free version of the plugin since it
will attempt to display all the images in the upload folder on one page. The
Pro version allows you to turn on pagination and set the number of images per
page, then you can view, let’s say, 100 images at a time and move the to other
   folders.
 * When a file is moved using Media Library Folders it will update the file’s URL
in standard posts and pages. You should test this feature on your site to insure
that it works as some themes and page builder plugins store URLs in a non standard
   format.
 * Note that there is a limit to the number of folders Media Library Folders can
handle due to the limitations of browser memory, thus try to keep the number
of folders created under one thousand.

 * Thanks Alan, the plugin was working properly since yesterday, I was able to create
two folders and move some of my files, but right now is taking to much time to
load the Media Libary folder pro dashboard, sometimes is even show 504 gateway.
Please is there a way you can help us out.

 * This is a transmission error. One MFL user solve this by moving to a new host
provider. Here is an article that might help, [https://kinsta.com/blog/504-gateway-timeout/](https://kinsta.com/blog/504-gateway-timeout/)
