# [Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] API Error Code: 102

 * Hi,
 * today I’ve started receiving the error below with SFC. I’ve been using it daily
   to share our posts on FB:
 * > API Error Code: 102
   >  API Error Description: Session key invalid or no longer
   > valid Error Message: Iframe dialogs must be called with a session key
 * My guess it that it may be a temporary problem due to FB, but if there’s any 
   other information it’ll be good to know. Thanks.

 * Have you updated to SFC 1.1? Version 1.0 will stop working tomorrow. FB may have
   flipped the switch early.

 * Yes, I’ve updated to v. 1.1, and was getting the error after clicking on “Publish
   on Facebook Fan Page” in the “Edit Post” page. I tried many times yesterday and
   had the error, and eventually shared the link directly on our Facebook fan page.
 * But today I’m not receiving the error anymore.

 * Hi all
 * I’ve just noticed the same problem. I have FSC v1.1 and have this problem. Tried
   to go to the Settings page and save it again to see if it would renew the session
   key. No luck.
 * Any advice?

 * Go to [https://developers.facebook.com/apps/](https://developers.facebook.com/apps/)
   and click on the App in question.
 * In the left menu, under Settings, click Advanced and look at the settings in 
   the Migrations section.
 * Switch the “Encrypted Access Token” setting to ‘Enabled’.
 * Might fix the issue.

 * Hi Otto,
 * I have made the switch to “Encrypted Access Token” – “Enabled” but I still get
   the same error.
 * I have tried it on multiple browsers (firefox, Chrome and IE).
    I have FSC 1.1
   and wordpress 3.2.1
 * Is there anything else I can try?

 * Honestly, not much more I can say. I don’t know what causes the problem, and 
   I can’t reproduce it on any sites I’ve set up SFC on (dozens).

 * I figured it out forgot to grant sfc permissions and set my fan page id. Once
   I did that I got the green highlighted messages at the bottom.
