 * This is a promising plugin, thanks!
 * It lacks adaptability, though. Please consider moving all stylistic code from
   hardcoded to user-definable.

 * I just realised that actually most style is implemented using css classes that
   are provided nowhere, so users can edit their style to accomodate their needs.
   Sorry for my hastiness; I had only noted the lack of a css file earlier.
 * This is definitely better than hardcoding but such changes can be lost during
   style upgrades.
 * What is hardcoded, though, is the way how you separate entries from footnotes.
   This should definitely put into users’ hands.
 * Also, please move your setting(s) from WordPress Settings to a separate page.
   Afaik it is considered (very) bad style to pollute WordPress administration pages;
   can’t find a reference now.

 * Hi Raphael,
 * Correct, that’s currently hardcoded. I’ll work on that.
 * Not applying styles was an initial objective of the plugin, and I don’t think
   I’ll be changing that. You can drop styles into your theme or a child theme,
   or even a standalone plugin if you wish.
 * I don’t think I’ll be moving the settings to another page. The WordPress project
   subscribes to a philosophy of [Decisions, Not Options](http://wordpress.org/about/philosophy/#decisions)—
   I didn’t even want to add any option at all, but I added this one mainly for
   compatibility. I think leaving it in its current position is proper — it is indeed
   a reading setting. It’s far better to do this than to add an additional settings
   page.
 * Sorry for the delayed reply.
