# [Plugin: Simple Google Connect] Google authentication for bbpress

 * I am considering migrating my phpbb forums to WP bbpress plugin. While phpbb 
   is much more powerful, there is something to be said about lower maintenance (
   theme etc) in an integrated approach.
 * My WordPress site is a essentially a CMS site, not a blog. I have not provided
   anywhere for visitors to register. I have allowed comments via Disqus plugin.
 * If I install bbpress plugin, on of the biggest things I’d want is that people
   should be able to log into bbpress using their Google logins.
 * Can Simple Google Connect enable Google authentication for bbpress, even though
   I don’t have a login area marked on my WP CMS site?

 * SGC is very much in “alpha” stages, and so lots of bits don’t work. My recommendation
   is to use only if you’re a developer who’s wanting to help improve it.
