# [Plugin: Simple Sidebar Navigation] Drop-down not working

 * Do I need to activate something to make the sub-menus drop down, instead of showing
   all the time? This is how it is currently showing: [akmscenter.org](http://akmscenter.org).

 * I only tested the top navigation for drop-down menus, which can be activated 
   via Simple SideNav Settings page under the Settings section (left hand side) 
   in your WP dashboard.
 * You can probably generate vertical drop-downs with the suckerfish CSS generator
   [http://pixopoint.com/suckerfish_css/](http://pixopoint.com/suckerfish_css/),
   I used it to generate the top nav CSS. You can save it as additional CSS file
   on your site and add a path to it as a custom CSS via the same Simple SideNav
   Settings page. Just make sure you replace the default #suckerfishnav ID with 
   correct ID’s and classes that are being used in your theme. From what I see in
   your code, you can try replacing it with #sidebar .SimpleSideNav and it should
   work.
