# [Plugin: Simple Slideshow] Shortcode in Widget ?

 * Hello,
    First, thx for this great simple slideshow, at least I found a plugin
   that works nicely and simply 🙂 But I have a question to go a little bit further:
   I tried to put the shortcode [simple_slideshow] in a **widget** that appears 
   on my homepage, and the images displayed are the ones **attached to my first 
   post**. I’d like to display images from a **specific page/post**, or manually
   input the images URL or anything else simple … Any idea to help me ? 🙂 Thx in

 * Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
 * Should simple-slideshow work in a widget? Yes, in theory. But it’s not tested.
   From what you’re saying, it doesn’t.
 * I’ll have a look in the next few days and try and update it for the next version.
