# [Plugin: Simple Slideshow] Unable to insert link

 * Hi,
 * I have Simple Slideshow installed on this test site [http://isaandcompany.com/sowhat](http://isaandcompany.com/sowhat)(
   and the live one). With a recent update (either to WP or the plugin, I’m not 
   sure), inserting a link using the Visual Editor with the plugin activated no 
   longer works. In the WP Visual Editor, when you select text and try to use the
   Link icon, the page freezes and turns gray.
 * When the plugin is deactivated, the problem goes away. This issue has also been
   reported on github:
