    Why are the instances I have installed of Revive old posts skipping days and even several days, counting down their schedule and then not posting my posts to either facebook or twitter and then just proceeding to the next day, only to ignore the schedule and not post again?

    Why is this set up to behave randomly? Despite setting the post release for 24 hours and seeing the countdown counting down, one site will publish 1 out of 2 scheduled posts, another 1 our of 4 and another 1 out of six scheduled posts? There appears to be no rhyme or reason to this plugin’s refusal to post on its own schedule.

    Having this exact issue, mine is set to post every 3 hours and it’s also skipping many but not all, and completely randomly. Sometimes it won’t post for several days, other days it posts multiple posts in a given day, but still not all of them. I can also watch it count down, and the logs are completely useless as they only track successful posts. Hopefully someone can give an answer to this.

    @snailgeek This most likely is an issue regarding your WordPress cron, the log doesn’t show entries, if nothing was actually sent out and if your WP cron is faulty or your website has low traffic then the posts would not get sent out at the time they should.

    To fix this you can setup a true cron for your website. Please have a look at this document: https://docs.revive.social/article/686-fix-revive-old-post-not-posting

    The website has plenty of traffic and I did set up a true Cron. I have it set to email me anytime the Cron fails, and other cron-dependant plugins and events are working fine. I’m not sure why this one in particular is so finicky.
