Right about this time, when editing our site, it became extremely slow and at times will give a time out message (which is frustrating when you’ve been working on updating a page for quite some time, then hit “update” to have the page time out and lose your edits). * We’ve been talking to our host and our theme developer and both point to the plugin as being the culprit. When it’s disabled, the site speeds up and works fine. But we love the plugin! * Theme developer said this: I narrowed down to the Theater plugin. It appears to be a memory hog or something else is going on with it. If you disable it, you’ll see that the edit functions work and work quickly. If you re-enable it, you get the 504 error again.
