# [Plugin: Social] Stripping html from comments

 * Social is stripping HTML tags from comments – i.e., if someone puts italic tags
   around a phrase, it doesn’t show as italics when published. I don’t want this
   behavior – how do I stop it?
 * BTW, I do know I can disable Social’s styling of the comments, but that removes
   the Twitter and facebook comments from view, yet still counts them in the total
   comment count. So if you have 3 regular comments and one Twitter mention, it 
   says “3 comments”, but without Social’s styling, only two are visible.

 * Is this plugin just not being supported? It looks like no questions have been
   answered or addressed in a very long time.
 * If anyone knows a fix/workaround for this one, I’d appreciate it!
