[Plugin: Special Recent Posts] Special recent posts – text colour

Hi. I am using this widget and it seems to work fine except for one thing. The text excerpts and titles appear to be white. As I have a white background I thought they just didn’t appear but as it turns out when I select it with the mouse it appears. No one else seems to have this problem.

How do I change it back to the same colour as my usual texts the blogs themselves are written in black and blue (internet links)? I am a beginner at all the codes (CSS, php, etc) so please be plain. Thanks.
