# Plugin Started to Hang

 * The Kraken plugin has stopped working for me today. It seems like it’s hanging
   when I try to upload an image – it just sits there for a minute or so, then shows
   an error message which just says ‘HTTP error’.
 * We’re hosted with WPEngine, not sure if it could be something to do with the 
   host?

 * The same thing happened a few weeks ago, [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/when-site-is-down/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/when-site-is-down/).
   This is due to the Kraken site going down. You can not access their API while
   the site is down, so the plugin will not work until the site is back up.
 * This is ridiculous though. The second time in 3 weeks? I am done with Kraken 
   after this.
