 * How does this plugin handle the MaxMind Database, once it is downloaded, through
   the StatComm > Options > Advanced page?
 * Is the MaxMind Database set up with the MaxMind Defaults, or is there special
   StatComm conventions, added to the MaxMind Defaults?
 * In other words, if I went and got the MaxMind Database and set it up, would my
   database’s data, match the database data installed with your StatComm Plugin?

 * Hi bamajr,
    The plugin just download and unpacks Maxmind database. It doesn’t
   change the database at all. If you download and unzip the database you would
   get the same file.

 * Sorry about the delay in responding. I ask because I’m developing a plugin, which
   also uses the MaxMind Database and I see no reason to download it twice. So,
   I was interested in piggybacking off of the MaxMind Database, already downloaded
   by StatPress.
 * Does that make sense?

 * Yes it does, you need a way to detect the database downloaded and installed.

   Also StatPress does not download anything, StatComm does :).
