# Plugin still active ?

 * I would like to know if this plugin is still actively maintained and when it 
   will be updated for compatibility with the latest wordpress and woocommerce version

   I’m happy to help out here.
 * Our latest version of Sequential Order Numbers is absolutely compatible with 
   the latest versions WooCommerce and WordPress, though thanks so much for checking,
   that’s definitely the right thing to do. As WooCommerce recently moved away from
   their previous versioning to be more in line with the WordPress version system,
   WooCommerce 5.7.1 is considered a minor release and fully backward compatible.
 * That said, even though the plugin hasn’t been updated in a while, this is usually
   a good sign that nothing has been modified in either WordPress or WooCommerce
   that has caused any need for our plugin to be updated.
 * If you’re concerned about compatibility, I’d recommend trying things out on a
   staging site first. If your hosting company doesn’t provide a staging site, you
   can create one with the WP-Staging plugin:

 * Once you create the staging site and update WooCommerce there, you can test things
   out with version 1.9.5 of our plugin. If all goes well, you should be good to
   go to update your live site!
