 * I’d like to customize the size of the email subscription box, and also the writing“
   Enter email address…” that is inside. I’ve poked around in the editor of the
   plug-in, but haven’t seen exactly where to do that. Could you give me any guidance?

 * [@mdblogs](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mdblogs/),
 * If you are using the in-built Widget this is available as an option in the Widget
   settings that are accessed by clicking on the Widget placeholder on the Widgets
   page in the administration area. when the Widget settings opens up look for the“
   Text Box Size:” section.

 * Thanks. I know that option — and it makes the box wider or narrower, but I’m
   thinking about making it shrink in more than that sense — because it’s out of
   proportion with the rest of the type in the sidebar. (Might be a problem with
   the theme, too.)
 * It may be that this level of customization isn’t possible —
 * thanks for your reply…

 * You would need to apply a font-size to the input text tags to alter the vertical
   height of the box so you need to define a class in the widget and then apply
   some styling elements to that class in you themes style.css file.

 * Okay, thanks. This is a bit beyond me. But thanks anyway!
