 * I’ve been using the AMP plugin for a few months now and love it, however, I’ve
   run into a bit of an issue. I have a “Related Posts” plugin that I don’t want
   to show up on mobile devices. It makes the pages too long and also has a display
   issue in most mobile browsers. I went into the settings for AMP and changed the
   plugin from “Active” to “Suppressed” but, I am still seeing the related posts
   on every post on the site.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fplugin-suppression-not-working%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hello [@extinctdisney](https://wordpress.org/support/users/extinctdisney/),
 * Thank you for reaching out to us. Upon reviewing your website, we discovered
   that you may be utilizing the “YARPP – Yet Another Related Posts” Plugin for
   related posts.
 * Upon attempting to suppress the plugin from AMP settings, it was successfully
   suppressed. As a result, we were unable to locate any related posts on AMP pages.
 * We believe that the page may have been cached with related posts. Therefore,
   we recommend **clearing all types of site caches** that your website is utilizing
   to ensure that the changes take effect.
 * we hope this helps!

 * I have cleared all caches and have tried Edge as well as Safari on my iphone
   and still see the related posts at the bottom of each of my posts. One such example:
   [https://www.extinctdisney.com/cranium-command/](https://www.extinctdisney.com/cranium-command/)
 * After the text of the post, the image gallery, and the embedded YouTube video,
   I still see the 4 related posts icons. It has not been supressed.

 * Hi [@extinctdisney](https://wordpress.org/support/users/extinctdisney/),
 * Thanks for the reference links! We tried your link in [AMP Test](https://search.google.com/test/amp/result?id=f-bXmZkHOuO80PJVD8sGAg),
   but it didn’t work. We also couldn’t find any AMP references on your page.
 * Please check if you’ve activated the AMP plugin. Also, make sure you’ve selected
   the templates to serve AMP pages.
 * Thanks.

 * Plugin is active and has been for quite some time.

 * AMP settings also confirm this.

 * Hello [@extinctdisney](https://wordpress.org/support/users/extinctdisney/)
 * If you open the view source of your [page](https://www.extinctdisney.com/cranium-command/),
   it has HTML code comments like below. ([screenshot](https://prnt.sc/twCLm8YyER97))
 * `<!-- There is no amphtml version available for this URL. -->`
 * OR if the page redirects from
 * `https://www.extinctdisney.com/cranium-command/?amp=1`
    to
 * `https://www.extinctdisney.com/cranium-command/?noamp=available`
 * It means that post is not selected to serve AMP pages.
 * Can you please check if you have selected all templates in AMP settings
 * ![](https://i0.wp.com/amp-wp.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/SC-Supported-templates.
   png?ssl=1)
 * If that doesn’t help, please reinstall the plugin by making sure that the “Delete
   plugin data at uninstall” option is checked in settings.

 * I have to admit, something isn’t quite making sense because everything your saying“
   should be” – is. I am not redirected from [https://www.extinctdisney.com/the-legend-of-captain-jack-sparrow/?amp=1](https://www.extinctdisney.com/the-legend-of-captain-jack-sparrow/?amp=1)
   to anything. I get a mobile site version of the page. I also have “serve all
   templates as AMP” selected. I will attempt to remove the plugin and see if anything
   changes.

 * Sorry for your experiance with AMP, If you decide to implement AMP again in the
   future, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d be happy to assist you in ensuring
   your setup correctly generates valid AMP pages and behaves exactly as expected,
   whether that involves proper canonical links, caching, or redirection.
 * Let us know what you find after you complete the removal and testing.
