[Plugin: The Event Calendar] Blog loop exclude category

Hi

This seems simple but I can’t figure it out 🙁

I want to include/exclude one event calendar category. For some reason I can’t use
cat=-5

By default the posts from the event calendar are not included in the blog loop (although I have check the checkbox in the plugin settings), so I’ve added this:

This works but shows everything. Can anyone tell me how I can remove a category or only add one?
