Does it happen if you disable CIMY?
Actually it’s working fine with CIMY here
http://www.digitalmouse.net/login/?action=register
But not here …
http://www.debsweb.biz/wp-login.php?action=register
So I’m not completely sure it’s CIMY – but as soon as I install TML I can’t even get to the admin login – I get loop message above.
Do you want a list of all the plugins with the second site ?
thanks
DonnaNJ
Here are the other plugins
Bad Behavious
Bullet Proof Security
Custom AUthor URL
Exclude Pages from Navigation
MaxRef Widgets
My Page Order
Reveal IDs
TinyMCE Advanced
Use Shortcodes in Sidebar Widgets
I can deactive some – but some like CIMY I don’t want to loose all the info I already added by deactivating.
thanks

If I were to take a guess by the plugin’s name, I would suggest either Bad Behaviour or Bullet Proof Security may be the culprit.
I decactivated ALL plugins nothing worked – I couldn’t even log out – I had to ftp in to delete the plug in
the only thing that did work – was to go into TML
and change the general setting from
login/action ….
to just wp-login.php
then everything works – but of course the login page doesn’t look like the template (which defeats the point) but at least it hides the dash board for authors.
the theme is Barely corporate from Theme Blvd … I didn’t try switching the theme back to 2010 ,… will try that next
DonnaNJ
I switch bck to 2010 – and all worked
So then I switched to the parent of the theme we were using and THAT worked
Then back to ur child theme and it’s broke again.
What about a child theme – that could be different enough from the parent theme that it doesn’t work ?
When I go to log in to the admin I get this
http://www.sitename.biz/login?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sitename.biz%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
and it gives me a page not found – and I can’t get in.
Any clues ?
thanks

Unfortunately, there could be a number of things in a child theme to make it not work.
