 * Just a heads up—I had to remove this plugin via my cpanel when it crashed my
   site sometime in the last couple of days, including the WordPress dashboard and
   login access. I’m running WordPress 5.1.1 with the Divi theme. All pages were
   throwing up the following error:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘&&’ (T_BOOLEAN_AND), expecting ‘)’ in /
   home1/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/maintenance/load/functions.
   php on line 452

 * I am also experiencing this error.

 * Hey guys, it appears the last update of this plugin got corrupted. I was able
   to fix it by changing the “if” statement in the following path: wp-content/plugins/
   maintenance/load/functions.php on line 452.
 * It should look like this:
 * if ( $mt_options[‘state’] && ( !empty( $mt_options[‘expiry_date_end’]) && !empty(
   $mt_options[‘expiry_time_end’] ) ) ) {
 * Until this issue gets resolved by the plugin development team, use this as a
   temporary fix. I hope this helps.

 * Good to know there’s a way to fix it. I’m new to fixing these issues in websites,
   so I want to verify how you fix this. Is the only way I can access the file wp-
   content/plugins/maintenance/load/functions.php through my website host?
 * That is, do I log in through my website host, find the file, and fix line 452
   there? Or is there another way I can access that file?
 * Thanks for your help!

 * Same here, several errors with the maintenance plugin:
 * Notice: Undefined index: expiry_date_end in …/wp-content/plugins/maintenance/
   load/functions.php on line 452
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at …/wp-content/plugins/maintenance/load/functions.php:452) in …/wp-content/plugins/
   maintenance/load/functions.php on line 461

 * [@reginafeckert](https://wordpress.org/support/users/reginafeckert/) That would
   be the recommended way. Just change the if statement according to the fix I mentioned
   above.
 * Also make sure to check the plugin changelog before the next update and make
   sure the developers resolved the issue before updating the plugin. They should
   since this is a severe issue.
 * You are welcome, best wishes

 * Good morning everyone! 👋🏻
 * I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and support for the plugin.
   We took over development last week and are working as fast as possible to fix
   all bugs, rewrite the whole plugin and add new features!
 * A new version will be available in a few days and it will include a fix for the
   bug on line #452.
 * Again, sorry for the slow response, and things will definitely improve moving
   forward 🙂

 * Hey,
 * Activating this plugin took my site down. I can’t even access the website & this
   plugin is not in the file directory (under plugins)!! How can I get my site back

 * Hi, sorry to hear you’re having problems.
 * Unfortunately we don’t provide assistance to people who give us a bad rating
   without giving us a chance to fix the issue.

 * That is so unfortunate!!!
    I will change my opinion, if you can help fix it!
 * My site is still down only because of this plugin which is not even there in
   the file system to edit/remove it!!
 * I first added my comment here and waited for your actions, then I gave my review/
   rating for this plugin. I had a horrible situation because of this.
 * But, as I said, help me fix the issue caused because of this. Once it is sorted,
   will change my review/rating.
 * Thanks,

 * Morning, please post your site URL.

 * The easiest way to fix this is to use FTP and navigate to this folder:
    `/public_html/
   247tri.com/bmc-me/wp-content/plugins/` and delete the plugin’s `maintenance`
   folder
 * Plugin’s files are definitely there.
 * I apologize for the mess. We’ll have an update out no later than Wednesday to
   fix this issue. We took over plugin’s development barely 5 days ago and are scrambling
   to get everything in order.

 * Its not there. Or I would have deleted myself.

 * Please re-check the path. Go back (or up) in the file structure as much as you
   can, and then navigate down to the right folder. It has to be in there, it’s
   not a cache issue. I’ve double-checked.
