 * Hello.
   I translated this plugin into Russian. And constantly monitor its updates.
   But with the next update of the plugin, its interface remains the same (in English).
 * Possibly because: the ai-engine pot file… is empty
   Or missing…How to fix it?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fplugin-translation-125%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@1scooter](https://wordpress.org/support/users/1scooter/),
 * Thank you so much for doing this! 🙂
 * I would like to start with the fact that I don’t know how the translation process
   works exactly. I just made sure that on my side, everything is done well (and
   I am adding new strings to be translated almost everyday; in advance, sorry about
   that).
 * You know this already, but for anyone joining this discussion, I would like to
   share the link to the translations here: [https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/ai-engine/](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/ai-engine/)
 * **The _Orange_ Rows**
 * This means that they are not validated yet ([https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/glotpress-translate-wordpress-org/#strings-status-color-key](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/glotpress-translate-wordpress-org/#strings-status-color-key)).
   Only a Translation Editor can do it, and I think those editors are numerous and
   come over from time to time to validate the translations.
 * **Translation Editor**
 * If it takes time to validate your translation, the only way is to contact one
   of them. They keep the translation teams here: [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/](https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/).
   But you could also ask to become a Translation Editor. In your case, I checked
   this: [https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/ai-engine/stable/ru/default/?page=5](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/ai-engine/stable/ru/default/?page=5).
   Apparently, an editor approved your translation only two hours after it was added,
   so that’s really good 🙂
 * **Interesting Note**
 * > If strings in stable are approved for at least 90% for a plugin/theme in a
   > certain locale, the generation happens 30 minutes after a translation has been
   > updated. Then any local WordPress set to use that specific locale will download
   > it in the next hours after the generation.
 * I hope it helps, and let’s discuss further. Would love to see my plugin in different
   languages! 🥰 And again, thank you!

 * Thanks for the answer.
 * All of the above step by step instructions, I know.
   I have been following your
   plugin since version 0.2. In fact, since the appearance of the plugin.You update
   often, sometimes twice a day)))
 * But I just wanted to emphasize one point:
    1. any string updated with translation,
       does not appear in the plugin interface
       when installing on a clean system or updating.
    2. this applies to at least two languages. But I think that with any language other
       than English, such a story.
    3. with any localization of the translation file, the plugin interface remains
       in the original language (English)
 * I hope this describes my question more accurately.
   Thank you

 * Hi [@1scooter](https://wordpress.org/support/users/1scooter/),
 * Would be hard to test right now; currently, the state of the translation in Russian
   is only 24% (seems like many translations haven’t been validated).
 * Under 80%, the translation files generated by WordPress/PolyGlot wouldn’t be
   generated and downloaded by the sites set to Russian.
 * When we get to 90% or so, I could set one of my test sites in Russian, try it,
   and make sure it works; but before that, I don’t think we can.
 * Basically, the first step is really to get the translations validated, then we
   can play with it 🙂

 * Good afternoon Jordy Meow (@tigroumeow)
 * Thanks for responding.
   At the moment, the translation into Russian is complete.
   And approved by the editors and “custodians” of the sequence.
 * The second step has been completed.
   If it’s not difficult for you and there will
   be Time, check it on your test site.Sincerely.Thank you.

 * I have been trying for the past two hours, since you let the message, I was really
   excited to try it… impossible! And I have no idea why.
 * I set a website in Russian, the translations files got downloaded by WordPress,
   I can see them. However, they get applied to the JS content, only the PHP content.
   I have no idea why, I checked and double-checked everything, but it looks like
   the JS translations are simply not loading at all.
 * If you know someone who could help, I am interested. I would be even willing
   to pay to make this work. Somehow WordPress didn’t make it straightforward and
   easy to debug 🙁

 * Two hours later, I am still on it 🙁 But I will abandon for now, until I find
   someone willing to help. I found some information but it’s never really clear.
   I could make it work by copying the file directly into some directory of mine
   and renaming them.
 * For your information, I would like to share what I wrote on another forum:

 * Unfortunately, I don’t know how to code.
   Therefore, I will be of no use to you.
   It is unfortunate that the situation has reached an impasse.
 * I don’t know for sure, but I guess: with other languages (translations) the
   same problem.

 * I spent a few more hours… and I finally found a solution! I will publish a new
   version in 8h or so, and it should work out of the box. Let me know 🙂

 * Good afternoon
   Yes, the latest update worked. At the moment, the translation
   is correct and works.There are items that were not translated, but here you already
   need to look at the translation file.
 * Now we can confidently say that the plugin has been translated into 4 languages.

   After updating and fixing the jamb, all translations are correct!!!
 * Great. Thank you

 * I will update my other plugins with the same system 🙂
 * Yes, not all the strings are translatable, I will do this little by little.

 * Hello
 * If needed, I can start translating it into Hungarian. If I receive the pro version,
   I will do that as well.
