 * does the plugin try to connect the twitter profile with a local wordpress profile?
   if not does it then create a new wordpress profile?
 * I am looking for a twitter plugin that offers the same functionality as this

 * Yes, it creates a new WordPress profile. It does not try to connect to any existing
   WordPress profiles. That’s a great suggestion though.

 * would love to see that. check out the FB plugin’s features I linked too, maybe
   you’ll find some nice ideas 🙂

 * I see you included your project on the buddypress page too 🙂
    nice move and 
   I repeat I’d love to have it work hand in hand with the FB connect plugin linked
   above. A lot of people use that so if this one would complement it offering Twitter
   functionality with the same features that would be awesome.
