# [Plugin: Ultimate TinyMCE] New Layer… Positioning

 * I was wondering, is there a way to drag and resize the new layer div box. I tried
   some hacks, but no results. What i need is, i need to place text boxes over the
   images. i.e., absolute position the text over the images, without html codes.

 * Yeah, I’m not too fond of this tinymce feature. It’s extremely “touchy”.
 * Try using Firefox browser to work with the divs.

 * nuthan, there is a toggle absolute button for layers and then you can just move
   it to where ever you like.

 * yes there are absolute position layer buttons, but none work. They dont move 
   anywhere i wanted…

   browser to insert and position the divs?

 * I did not try opening it in Firefox. I m fan of chrome.
    Thanks a lot Josh. It
   worked like a charm in Firefox. Any specific reason why this does not work in
   chrome? any solution for that?

 * Well, the developers over at Moxiecode (the ones who created tinymce) seemed 
   to think Firefox would be the best browser to make the most compatible with Tinymce.
 * I will be attempting to make a few of the features of the plugin a little more
   friendly with cross-browser compatibility; but for now, we must resort to using
   Firefox for certain features…
 * No solution currently… but working on it 🙂
