# Plugin Update 2.8.0 Error

 * Since this new update, my website’s home page gained a subdomain that looks like
   this “[https://chicagoteez.com/lara_11/&#8221](https://chicagoteez.com/lara_11/&#8221);
   instead of its regular domain name. A message also appears that states the following(“
   It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.”).
 * I have done some troubleshooting and concluded that the Ultimate Member plugin
   is what is causing this issue when activated. My navigation menu has also had
   all Ultimate Member elements disappear when the plugin is active.
 * I have activated debug mode & got a bunch of PHP Warning & PHP Deprecated lines.
   The problem is that it is too long of a list to copy over here using the code
   block.

 * If you are using PHP 8.2 try to use PHP 8.1 or PHP 8.0 instead.
 * Try to deactivate these plugins if they have a conflict with UM:
    “MAZ Loader”,“
   Disable WP Notification” and “Convertful”
 * Most PHP issues are from the “WooCommerce Shipping & Tax” plugin which you also
   can deactivate if you still have issues after deactivating the three plugins 
   above.

 * I have tried to mix & match downgrading PHP all the way to 7.4 as well as the
   UM plugin to 2.6.11 which actually fixed the navigation menu issue BUT the home
   page is still broken. I also deactivated all plugins you recommended as well 
   but there is no difference when they are active or not.

 * I have been troubleshooting & trying to figure out where the issue lies but when
   UM is the only plugin active and the issue still remains, this means that the
   plugin is the issue. No other plugin or theme-related issue, and not a PHP issue
   either. My home page still has its domain name changes with “Page not found” 
   message.
