# Plugin update – Import Export Users

 * Getting this error when trying to update this plugin:
 * Update failed: The update cannot be installed because some files could not be
   copied. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.
 * Not having this issue with any other plugin update. Can you point me in the right
   direction of which files might not have incorrect permission settings? Is there
   a blanket file permissions i can apply, update the plugin and then change back?
   If so, which files are read/written to?

 * Can you remove it and then re-install again?
