# Plugin Update problem

 * Hello,
 * After upgrading from 7.1.1 to 8.0.1, I got the following error:
 * _The plugin media-library-plus/maxgalleria-media-library.php has been deactivated
   due to an error: Plugin file does not exist._
 * The plugin Media Library Folders for WordPress got deactivated, and Media Library
   Folders Reset stayed active.
 * I revert the update in Git, and I saw that you renamed the file:
 * `# renamed: wp-content/plugins/media-library-plus/media-library-plus.php -> wp-
   content/plugins/media-library-plus/maxgalleria-media-library.php`
 * Is the issue fixed in 8.0.2?

 * The simple solution is to reactivate the plug as reported by users in this thread,
   [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/update-8-0-not-working-at-all/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/update-8-0-not-working-at-all/).
 * We will not be renaming the file as changing the file name again will create 
   the same issue for everyone already using has version 8.
