# Plugin update wiped dashboard data

 * Hi,
 * I’ve noticed that whenever the plugin updates, the dashboard data is reset to
   zero for Cached Objects and Cache Size.
 * However, whan I check pages, the cache is still working fine, and if I view Cached
   Objects, it shows 1,000 entries, which I think is the maximum.
 * So I gather that this just a bug and an annoyance when the plugin updates. But
   is there any way you could keep the dashboard data accrurate when the plugin 
   updates?

 * Thanks for getting back on this.
 * Yes, it still happens when the plugin updates. The dashboard data resets to zero.
   It’s not a big deal, just an annoyance.
 * But if it could be fixed, it would be helpful.
