# Plugin updates breaking website

 * Hi,
 * I have a wordpress site with plug in’s and apparently the original web person
   set the plugins to update automatically. Since March – that has happened 2 times
   recently and the site breaks in certain areas. I have had it restored with my
   Host.
 * Can someone help me to not have these plugins not update automatically for now.

 * WordPress does not update plugins automatically by default, and there isn’t a
   simple setting for it either.
 * See if you have any plugins installed that may provide this feature. For example,
   I see that you are using Jetpack, and automatic plugin updates through it’s Manage

 * If you aren’t providing automatic plugin updates through Jetpack or another plugin,
