# [Plugin: VideoGall] shortcode in sidebar

 * any idea how to get the shortcode to work in my sidebar? I tried placing it in
   the functions.php with some other sidebar code that works, but it just displays
   the shortcode. assistance is appreciated

 * You don’t need shortcode to display videos on sidebar. Plugin has a widget as
   well. So you can add the videos through widget section
