 * You kinda have to know PHP if you want to do anything other than show a widget
   in one location. I tried several times to adapt the examples to my needs, it
   just makes it show up on all pages every time.
    I actually thought this was another
   plugin that lets you choose in layman’s terms… oops.

 * How about some pointers on what exactly the conditional code is that allows more
   than one location? which brackets or which lines or dashes set that up?

 * You are right, WL isn’t for the faint of coding heart, and I’m not hiding that.
   There was a forum thread where I listed/linked to other plugins that do the same
   job but in a more point and click, fill in forms, sort of way. I think you should
   be able to find them anyway.
 * If you do want to persist though, there are some bare bones notes at
 * [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/other_notes/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/other_notes/)
 * but it does expect quite a bit of a ‘coder background’ still.
 * Cheers

 * thanks, I ussually assume the point of plugins is to avoid having to code, so
   this through me for a “loop”
    (possible pun intended)
 * I’ve since found what I needed, but thanks anyway.

 * In this case it’s to avoid editing core WP code but give you the flexibility
   as if you were

 * I may revisit this simply for my own good. The more I use WP the more I realize
   that in the time it takes to locate the perfect combination of the perfect plugins,
   I could have learnd quite a bit about coding.
