I changed over to a default WordPress theme (2013) with all the plugins deactivated, same problem. Perhaps it does have a small glitch preventing it from activating, but it would have came like that. I didn’t do anything to it other than download the zip and extract it to my plugin dir. * So let me ask you a question; Have you tried to download and install the file from the plugin repository yourself and if so did it work on the latest ver. of WP?
