# Plugin will not update

 * Wordfence will not update. Tried deleting and trying to install again and just
   get:
   **Could not copy file. wordfence/views/waf/waf-install-success.php**Cannot
   find anything with this message in Google

 * Thanks for reaching out. This is likely a permissions error or an issue with 
   available space. Please check that your hosting account owns and has permission
   to write to **wp-content/upgrade **and to **wp-content/plugins/wordfence **and
   that it has space available for the update files. Your host can likely assist
   with this.
 * If Wordfence is installed currently, can you send a diagnostic report to **wftest
   @ wordfence . com**? You can find the link to do so at the top of the **Wordfence
   > Tools > Diagnostics** page. Then click on “**Send Report by Email**”. Please
   add your forum username where indicated and _respond here after you have sent
   it._
