# Plugin Won’t Update

 * Update failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy
   some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.
 * I keep getting the above error. Doesn’t make sense.

 * Thank you for your review.
 * We can confirm that the issue is occurring on a handful of Cloudways websites
   and it’s an issue on Cloudway’s end. We’ve already spoken to their team & they’re
   working on fixing this.
 * I would highly recommend getting in touch with the Cloudways team regarding this&
   asking them to reset the file permissions while they fix this issue.

 * I an also A Cloudways customer and user of this excellent plugin. I was having
   the same issue, here is the fix.
