# [Plugin: WordPress Automatic upgrade] Can’t complete step 2

 * I have been using this plugin for some time and have never had any problems with
   it. But for some reason it’s not letting me upgrade from 2.5 to 2.5.1. I’m using
   the automatic option (like I always do), and it keeps hanging up with backing
   up my database, which is strange because I haven’t touched it. The message I 
   keep getting is:
 * Database files cannot be backed up. Failed at Step 2.
 * Any thoughts on how to get this to work? I’ve tried it several times, but no 
   go . . .

 * Same here except I’m not using the automatic option but the stepped-through option.
