# [Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] redirect loop – not fresh install

 * Hello
 * I’ll explain the steps i took to get to where i am:
 * I installed my ssl certs via cpanel (all okay)
 * i then went to my site but added https, this did not work and just redirected
   me back to the home page.
 * So i went into wp, and changed all links to include https, and removed any redirects
   on my server that was redirecting the site to http
 * then i started getting a redirect loop on the home page (every other page loads
   ok, just not in https (they redirect to http)
 * So i stumbled across the plugin whilst trying to bug fix my current problem, 
   after installing your plugin i still cannot seem to make ends meet.
 * and to be fair im not really sure where to start :/
